Bids have been invited by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the development of an international-level cricket and football stadium which will be able to seat 30,000 spectators. The stadium is to be built in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka, Sector 19.
It will be built at a cost of ₹350-crore on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis and will be spread over 54 acres. The facility is to have an outdoor stadium with a seating capacity for at least 30,000 spectators for cricket and football, and an indoor stadium with space for 2,000 spectators
The project is to be developed on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis. The sports facility is expected to be completed within three years from the date of award of work.
