This order is a part of a larger tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the contract BYD has to deliver 25 units of new-generation 12-metre electric buses to Barcelona from 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMB intends to procure another 210 electrified buses by 2025 in March, tenders for which will be floated in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tender had a total value of 116 million euros and was divided into five lots. Of which in two of the lots, TMB focused entirely on all-electric buses: which included 29 electric articulated buses and 49 electric solo buses, equipped with pantographs.
